Naomi's Story

PLEASE NOTE: You must complete an ADOPTION APPLICATION in order to receive a response. https://www.homeatlastrescue.ca/adoption-form/, or click on the "MORE ABOUT HOME AT LAST RESCUE" button in the bottom right for a direct link.

Looking for a new shadow cat? Naomi is a loving, affectionate six-year-old girl who wants to be wherever you are. She’ll happily follow you around the house, nap wherever you’re hanging out, and curl up beside you when it’s time to sleep. She’s especially sweet at night and will sometimes come over, give you a little hug, and settle in beside you for the night. Naomi is a wonderful cuddler and loves pets, especially when she’s comfortable and relaxed. She absolutely loves being brushed, too - so if you’re looking for a cat who will enjoy some quality grooming time together, Naomi is your girl! She isn’t much of a lap cat and prefers keeping all four paws on the ground, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t affectionate. She’ll happily snuggle up beside you and even use your arm, legs or other assorted body parts as her personal pillow. Naomi may take a little time to settle into a new home. Give her a few days to get comfortable, learn her new surroundings and build trust, and you’ll start seeing more and more of her sweet personality. Once she feels safe, she really blossoms into a loving companion. Naomi prefers to be the only cat in your home.

Naomi came to us as an owner surrender, along with Winona. They were adopted together, but were returned four years later when the family could no longer care for them.

If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will quietly follow you around, sleep by your side and keep you company wherever you go, Naomi could be the perfect little shadow for you.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first-come, first-served.
