Nami's Story
Nami is a female tabby kitten with a spunky and silly personality. She is looking for her fur-ever home and would be the purr-fect addition to any loving family! Nami is quick to adjust to new places and is very friendly. She especially loves to run around when playing with her siblings. We're looking for an adopter that has at least one other playful cat companion for Nami, or someone who will adopt Nami with a sibling or other kitten from Moby Kit Rescue.

IMPORTANT: Nami and her siblings tested positive for FIV, because their mom is also FIV-positive. The FIV test is an antibody test; it does not test for the actual viral protein. Their mom has antibodies and likely the virus. The antibodies are present in her milk, and the kittens ingest them during nursing; thus, the kittens test positive. However, 96% of kittens will revert to negative as the antibodies go away over time. While we cannot guarantee that Nami will become FIV-negative, FIV-positive kittens do not require any special care beyond an indoor-only lifestyle and a healthy diet. FIV is not highly contagious, so FIV-positive cats can live with FIV-negative cats as long as they coexist well.

To apply for adoption, please complete our online application: https://www.jotform.com/mobykitrescue/adoption-application.

If you have already submitted an Adoption Application online and would like to be considered for Nami, please let us know at MobyKitRescue@gmail.com.

If your application is selected and approved, you will be contacted and put in touch with her foster family for a meet and greet.

If you submit an application and do not hear back, don't worry! Your application will still be kept on file in case and can be used for other cats that become adoptable.

The adoption fee is $250 and includes the following: spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip, FeLV & FIV testing, deflea and vet examination.
