Nala's Story

Meet Nala!

BCAC saved my life after I was dumped at a kill shelter and put on the euthanasia list
I am a beautiful, affectionate girl looking for a patient family to call my own. When I first arrived at my foster home, I was very scared. I spent most of my time hiding behind the dryer and would only come out when everyone was asleep.

But little by little, I've learned that the world isn't quite as scary as I thought.

Now I'm starting to play, explore, and even enjoy the occasional case of the zoomies! In fact, I showed off my zoomie skills just this morning.

I'm still a bit timid around new people and need some time to warm up, but every day I grow a little braver and a little more confident. Once I trust you, I absolutely love attention and affection. Petting is one of my favorite things in the world!

I do sometimes give gentle "love nips" when I'm getting extra excited about being petted, so a home without very small children would probably be best for me.

What I really want is a family who will give me the time and patience to blossom into the loving companion I know I can be. In return, I'll reward you with purrs, cuddles, and plenty of lap-cat potential.

Could you be the one to show me that forever homes really do exist?
