Nadia's Story

For The Cats' Sake

Are you familiar with “tortitude”? If not (or even if so), beautiful tortoiseshell NADIA would be happy to acquaint you with it! This spunky, independent girl wants what she wants and likes what she likes and sees little reason to attend to much else. ‍âTM€ï ̧ She's looking for a home that will appreciate this discerning awareness and offer her equal parts love and space!

One of NADIA’s important preferences (read: things she insists upon) is going outside sometimes, so she’ll need a home where it’s safe for her to do that. While she seems to get along with other cats, she would also likely be fine being the only feline (her independence is not species-discriminating!). If you’re a cat-savvy home seeking a feline family member to grace you with her presence, NADIA may be your girl. ❤ï ̧ Please fill out the adoption application (which will not obligate you) at https://form.jotform.com/81848821130152 if you'd like to come meet this fabulous lady!

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend over $250 to cover spay and neutering, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask for a minimum donation of $80 per cat, and that adopters pay more if they are able to. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.

TNR and a whole lot more...
