Muskrat

Muskrat is a male, gray and white Domestic Short Hair kitten. His estimated date of birth is March 16, 2026. Muskrat is a handsome kitten with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This confident little guy approaches life with endless curiosity, eagerly exploring every corner of the house before happily curling up in your lap for a well-earned nap. He is the definition of a lap cat and absolutely loves soaking up all the cuddles and affection he can get.

Playful, fearless, and full of enthusiasm, Muskrat is always ready for his next adventure. While he enjoys meeting new people and discovering new places, he doesn't like being alone for long. He thrives on companionship and would love a home with another young, playful feline friend to wrestle, chase toys, and nap alongside. In fact, having a feline companion is important for Muskrat, as he can become lonely and vocal when left by himself. He would also do well in a home with children of all ages and can happily coexist with dogs when given proper introductions.

Muskrat is FIV+, but don't let that hold you back! FIV is **not contagious to people, dogs, or other animals** and is only transmitted between cats through deep bite wounds—the kind that are extremely uncommon in friendly, social households. FIV-positive cats can live long, happy, healthy lives, and Muskrat would absolutely love to share his home with another friendly cat companion.

If you're looking for a kitten who will keep you entertained with his playful antics, fill your home with love, and happily snuggle in your lap at the end of the day, Muskrat is ready to steal your heart.

Muskrat is fully vetted and has an adoption fee of $120.
