Hello, my name is Murky! I am a 7-month-old, female, dilute tortoiseshell kitten. I was rescued from living outside in Jackson Ward with my sister, Sticky. I was named after an adorable street urchin from the Pathologic video game series. When I was rescued, I was half-feral, and I wouldn’t let my foster touch me for three weeks. But after daily Churus and baby talk sessions, a switch flipped, and I turned into a complete cuddle-bug. I LOVE pets and will jump against your hand if I feel I’m not getting enough. Even belly rubs are okay with me! However, it takes me a long time to trust new people. Even when I do, I sometimes forget how much I adore them and run away. I do not like getting picked up and would be miserable in a PetSmart, so I’m available to meet you at my foster’s house. I have a great time playing with my foster’s older cats. I haven’t met dogs before, and young children would overwhelm me. I must be adopted with my sister, Sticky, who helps me feel more comfortable. I am a beautiful, sweet girl who has so much love to give – will you be the one who helps me bloom? I am spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, tested for FIV/FeLV (negative/negative), and have my microchip.
