Munchkin's Story
Our special needs boy, Munchkin, is ready to find a forever home!

As a paraplegic, disabled kitten, Munchkin does not have functioning hind limbs. Munchkin requires his bladder and bowels to be expressed daily. He's gotten accustomed to using diapers and drag bags, which allow him to move around the floor more easily. His handicap does not stop him from living a happy, healthy life!

Falling in love with Munchkin is a 1-2 punch. First, his haunted little Victorian orphan face draws you in. Then, his quirky, can-do personality, and his story of resilience, pulls you completely under his spell. A fan favorite at LICFF, Munchkin doesn't let his disability hinder him from experiencing everything he can in this lifetime. He wants to participate in it all.

Munchkin doesn't meow, he meeps or chirps - which is particularly cute when paired with the zoomies. He moves around with an impressive swiftness, turning any nearby human into a cheerleader. He begrudgingly lets you help him with his bathroom needs and as soon as that diaper is back on, he is back to tackling the day. Munchkin loves to touch noses with his adult foster brothers and tries to engage in play, but he can also read the room and understands body language, taking a correction in stride. He delights in head scratches and his sleepy face is a dream.

Munchkin holds many part-time jobs. He is a doorman, hauling his little body over to the front door whenever you walk through and providing the gift of a joyous reunion. He is a shift supervisor, never failing to check on what his humans are up to, whether that's loading the dishwasher, opening a package, or even taking a shower (hello HR violation). He is a chief toy tester, going through every toy you own, giving it the proper nibble check or watching the way it moves while batting it around.

Munchkin and Lychee are sibling goals. They give each other confidence, love, and a perfectly matched playmate, neither of whom acting like there is any sort of handicap. Sometimes they roll around MMA style. Sometimes they chase each other. Sometimes they battle for the same toy wand their human is waving around. It is so much fun to witness.

We would love to see this brother sister duo get adopted together! We also know that Munchkin would thrive equally well in his own forever home that can give him the care and attention he needs. If you're interested in learning more, reach out and let's chat.

Munchkin is up to date on his vaccines and neutered.
