Mulligan's Story

Hi, I'm Mulligan, and if you're reading this, I hope you're looking for a new best friend.
A little while ago, my story started in an unusual place. My siblings and I were found tucked away inside a drain pipe. It wasn't the easiest beginning, but kind people helped us find safety, comfort, and a chance at a brighter future. That's how I got my name Mulligan because sometimes life gives you a second chance, and I'm making the most of mine.
Now I'm a 2-month-old Domestic Shorthair Mix with a small frame, a brave heart, and a personality that's growing bigger every day. I love attention and affection, and I'm always curious about what my people are doing. Whether I'm chasing fuzzy mice, pouncing on feather wands, batting around jingle bells, or zooming after crinkle toys, I approach every day like it's a brand-new adventure.
When playtime is over, I'm happy to curl up in a cozy bed, a sunny window spot, a cat tree, or right on the lap of someone I love. I enjoy being brushed, talked to, and spoiled with Churu treats, Delectables, Friskies Treats, and Temptations. I get along well with other cats, am comfortable around children, appear litter trained, and have a gentle, loving nature that helps me form strong bonds with my people.
I've come a long way from that drain pipe, and now I'm searching for the most important thing of all a forever home where I'll be loved, cherished, and safe for the rest of my life. Could that home be yours?
For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter at 863 324 5227 to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet.
We are open 10:30 to 6 Tuesday through Friday and 10:30 to 4 on Saturday closed 1-2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month
