Volunteers describe him as confident, social, and full of personality—but the absolute best part? He LOVES to be held! 💛 Muffin was found as a tiny kitten by a caring family and spent a year with them and their rescued kitties. Sadly, their apartment’s no-pet policy meant Muffin needed a new home—but now he’s ready to bring his love and playful energy to you! He’s not just a cuddle bug—Muffin is playful, outgoing, and friendly with people and other cats, the perfect mix of snuggles and fun adventures. HEARTT Animal Refuge's Adoption Policy

All adoptions are by appointment only. We have two locations, Sharonville and Bridgetown, so please clarify who you would like to meet so we can set up the appointment at the correct location. Our adoption fee for both dogs and cats is $100 per animal. We have a policy to only adopt to individuals age 21 or older. Additionally, we only adopt within a 50 mile radius so that if problems arise, the pet can easily be returned to the shelter. All animals are spayed/neutered and vaccinated prior to adoption. We also give flea and dewormer treatments. Dogs are tested for Heartworm and cats are quarantined for 8 weeks prior to FIV/FeLV testing. Consider a "Senior" pet.....they really need love and a home to call their own in their senior years. We have a few beautiful kittens and many adult cats that are looking for you.
