Muffin was brought in because she was born outside, but people noticed she had no eyes. They knew that she would be at risk for predators, and have difficulty surviving outdoors once weaned. Fun fact: most orange cats are male, but Muffin is actually a female! What could the statistics be of a a female, orange cat, with no eyes??<br/>We expect Muffin to adapt well to new enviroments, as long as her new family can show her around at first.

Kossuth County Tails of Hope Rescue's Adoption Policy

We hope you’ve found your newest family member at our shelter! Next you will fill out an adoption application. You can apply online! If your application is approved, we will arrange for you and your new family member to unite fur-ever! We require adopters to fill out an online application. Once that is submitted our adoption coordinator does social checks, home checks, financial checks and reference checks to determine if the adopter meets qualifications. If an adopter rents their home they are required to provide proof of approval for animals from their landlord.
