Mrs. Potts's Story
Mrs. Potts, fitting her name, is the smart, caretaker sort here at the shelter among our cats. At just over 2 years old, this pretty girl is very affectionate and takes great care of the ones she loves. She was an amazing mother to her kittens, and even acted as a sort of 'foster mom' for a few other kittens here at the shelter when they felt lonely. Mrs. P is a welcoming soul who loves to have a job to keep her busy, and in being the greeter, welcomer of her fellow felines, she found her perfect job! She doesn't just love her babies, though, as she is super affectionate with people as well. She loves to explore and check her surroundings (likely making sure it's safe for the little ones) but once she's done, she'll be all over you, rubbing between your legs and barreling into your hands for some pets. Mrs. Potts previously lived in a home with other cats (and kittens, of course), as well as small children, and did wonderfully with them. She has little experience around dogs, and may take some getting used to if she were introduced into a home with pups. This young lady is the definition of a family cat, as she's shown us plenty. Come meet her and see if it's your family she belongs with!
