Mr Spookums

I’m Mr. Spookums, a 10-pound black and white charmer who found my way to the Stafford County Animal Shelter on October 10, 2025 as a stray. Nobody ever came looking for me, so now I’m waiting, hoping someone will see past the kennel door and decide I’m the one they’ve been missing. I’ve been told I’m quite the loverboy, even if I can be a little mouthy at times, it’s just my way of showing personality! Life on my own taught me to be bold, but under that confidence is a cat who really just wants affection, safety, and a place to call home. Because I came to the shelter as a stray, there’s no medical or behavioral history available. I’m not neutered, so adoption restrictions apply (limited to Stafford County or counties that border it). I’m litterbox trained and my black-and-white coat makes me look like I’m always dressed for a formal occasion. I even have distinct markings on my face that make me truly one of a kind. I may just be another cat in a crowded shelter, but I’m hoping someone will see me, really see me, and decide to give me a chance.
