Mr. Snuggles's Story
Mr. Snuggles’ story starts on a freezing winter morning, when his soft cries could be heard in the dark—hungry, alone, and clearly not meant for life outside. He eventually found his way to a feeding station, politely keeping his distance from the feral cats while waiting his turn, never causing trouble despite being desperately hungry. It didn’t take long to see that this beautiful, gentle boy was once someone’s pet… and still very much wants to be one again.

Today, Mr. Snuggles is safe, neutered, and ready for a real home—and true to his name, he is pure sweetness. He adores being petted from head to tail, happily rolling over for belly and chest rubs. He’ll greet you with soft purrs, little chirps and trills, and the sweetest head bumps to ask for love. He wants to be near his people and is happiest just keeping you company. While being picked up isn’t his favorite, he remains completely docile and trusting—never a hint of aggression, just a gentle soul who wants to feel safe.

Mr. Snuggles is a big fan of mealtime (especially his beloved wet food and tasty toppers!) and may chat with you if he thinks you’re running late. After his time outdoors, he’s still learning that food will always be there, so a consistent routine will help him feel secure.

He is FIV-positive, which simply means he’ll need to live indoors and have regular vet care—but many FIV cats live long, happy, healthy lives. FIV is not spread among cats through casual contact such as grooming, sharing dishes, food, water bowls, or litter boxes; it requires deep bites that break the skin and exchange blood. Most veterinarians and feline health organizations agree that FIV-positive and FIV-negative cats can safely coexist in a calm, stable household.

Spaying/neutering and ensuring all cats are well-socialized and not aggressive further decreases any minimal risk of transmission. Careful introductions and close observation are recommended at first, especially for signs of aggression or fighting.

His affectionate, easygoing nature would make him a wonderful companion in a calm home, either as a solo pet soaking up all the love or potentially with other friendly, non-aggressive cats.

Now that his mats are gone, Mr. Snuggles is as beautiful on the outside as the inside. He's a long - haired boy, maybe a Maine Coon or Siberian.

He already endured the cold and loneliness of being unwanted. Now he’s ready for the life he was always meant to have—warm, safe, and surrounded by love.

If you’re looking for a devoted, gentle companion who will greet you with purrs and head bumps every day, Mr. Snuggles is waiting to meet you.
