Hoppy Homes 4 Bunnies's Adoption Policy
We strongly prefer to adopt to applicants who are either looking for a second bunny to bond with their current rabbit or who are interested in adopting one of our bonded pairs. Adoption Requirements 1. Must be 18 years of age or older. 2. Must have a current state-approved identification card or driver’s license. 3. Must not be banned from future adoptions as a result of a court order. 4. If renting, must provide a pet addendum. 5. Must provide details of the bunny’s living situation (cages and hutches are not permitted). 6. Applicants may be subject to a home check and must pass an adoption screening. 7. Must pay an adoption fee of $150. 7. If a current bunny owner, must provide proof of sterilization and RHDV2 vaccination for existing rabbits. Disclaimer: Filling out an application does not guarantee that the adoption will be approved. While we try to respond immediately- we are a small Rescue operation, with limited staffing. Please allow up to 24-48 business hours for us to respond.
