Moza's Story

Meet Moza – A Rare Egyptian Mau Beauty Looking for Her Forever Home

Moza is an exquisite eleven-month-old female Egyptian Mau, a breed known for its natural grace, intelligence, and striking spotted coat. True to her heritage, Moza is both elegant and playful, with a curious spirit that brings life and joy to any home.

This young girl is full of energy and loves interactive play, especially chasing toys and exploring her surroundings. She forms strong bonds with her people and will happily follow you from room to room, always wanting to be part of the action. Moza also has a sweet, affectionate side—once she feels comfortable, she enjoys quiet moments and gentle attention.

Moza would thrive in a home that understands her active nature and can provide enrichment, attention, and a safe indoor environment. Because of her spirited personality, she may do best with experienced cat owners or a family that can give her the time and engagement she deserves.

She is healthy, litter-trained, and ready to begin her next chapter with a loving adopter who appreciates the uniqueness of the Egyptian Mau breed.

If you're looking for a loyal, intelligent, and stunning companion, Moza may be your perfect match.

Give Moza the forever home she deserves—and she'll reward you with a lifetime of love and companionship.

All of our cats for adoption are sterilized, fully vaccinated, treated for fleas/worms, are negative for FIV/FELV, have a registered microchip, and come with their travel crate. Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Potential adopters for our Persian cats need to have prior Persian cat experience as they need to be well cared for. Grooming, dental, and veterinarian exams are done once a year, and a good quality brand of cat food such as Royal Canin, Hills Science Diet, or Purina Pro plan is the upper tier level with a black label.

We are a rescue and get what we get in terms of cats in need of a home. In no way do we work with breeders or buy the cats from the Friday markets so we can put them up for adoption as a rescue.

https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11596/generic

Native Mau Cats of Egypt are the oldest known descendants of Egyptian domesticated cats (which have provided a partial foundation for the recent Egyptian Mau cat breed), and they are one of only a few naturally occurring, small, spotted cats in the world. Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and by an approved application. NVEcats aims to increase education in Egypt and around the world about these magnificent and intelligent cats.

Cats and kittens are not adopted out on a “first-come, first-serve” basis. We choose to match our applicants and cats based on what we deem as best suited for that particular cat or kitten.
