Mowgli & Finn's Story
These beautiful brothers started their lives outside in a Clifton backyard garden, where a kind soul began feeding and caring for them. After a few months, they came inside, got vetted, and have been soaking up indoor life ever since.

They love love love toys — shoelaces, crinkly balls, strings — and will proudly carry them around in their mouths like trophies. They love sitting side by side on the windowsill, smelling the fresh air and watching the world go by.

They’re curious, gentle, and endlessly entertaining. Mowgli loves to wrestle (and might even try with you), but he's so gentle. Just playful nibbles and purrs. Finn’s more of an independent player. He can happily entertain himself with a single hair tie, but Mowgli’s usually right there, ready to join in. And once they're in play-mode together? Expect to laugh and fall in love.

They’re both great with the litter box (Finn just appreciates a clean one!). They LOVE head rubs, meal times, and greeting you with sweet little meows that say “I’m hungry” or “please pet me more.” They tolerate being held but would much rather get love and pets where they can roll over and show you their tummies.

They’re so beautiful to look at together — opposite colors yet perfectly matched. Finn has those classic almond-shaped eyes and sleek, elegant features, while Mowgli has these huge green moon eyes that make him look like a cartoon come to life. Side by side, they’re total art. Mowgli’s your tuxedo playmate; Finn’s your pink-nosed emotional poet.

And when Finn’s getting his extra love and pets? Mowgli can’t help but join in with love nibbles, purrs, and a good lick session. These two are bonded brothers through and through. ??

Mowgli and Finn are quite the dream team – they are brothers who have been at the shelter since last November. They are about a year old, neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. They have the best personalities – it is like a Ying and yang. They are super playful and active yet they have downtime where they are super snuggly and love when you just pet them while they purr on their side

Mowgli does have some thickening on left side of his heart muscle but no worries- it does not mean he does not deserve a chance and a loving home. At this time no meds are required and we have him under the care of a cardiologist that feels that he should be in a loving home living his best life vs shelter cage. We just had his follow up done this week and they are very happy with what they see. We would do another follow up in July but of course we hope that does not mean they are still with us and we will help with the care and follow ups needed with whoever is willing to open up their heart and Home to this fantastic pair who have been waiting longer than they should.

If anyone would like more information, we are happy to talk to you about it and to meet them is to see how charming they are – all they need is a chance and for somebody to believe in them and you will be so happy. Besides unconditional love, adorable pictures – you are truly making a difference in the lives of these two fantastic boys who have been waiting a long time for someone to fall in love with them
