Moshi's Story

My name is Moshi the enigma! I was originally adopted from another rescue who misrepresented me to my new mom. They told her I was 2 years old, my new mom's vet said I was more like 9. That wouldn't have been a great issue but it turns out that while I love people, I seriously did not like the other cat in my new home. When our interactions became too much, my new mom sadly decided to give me up but chose not to give me back to the rescue and instead surrendered me to PAWS-OK. Their vet - says i am about 5 (only I know for sure, and I'm not telling lol!)

PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008. All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home. We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes. Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age. All our cats are in volunteer foster homes. If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form. Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 4-6 business days. If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview and then a time to meet the cat or kitten. If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation. Thank you for looking at our available cats and kittens. If you have any questions, please reach out for us at pawsokrescue@gmail.com.

Pet Adoption and Welfare Services of OK (PAWS-OK)'s Adoption Policy
Adopting a new pet for your home is a big decision and should not be entered into without proper consideration of your lifestyle and the needs of the pet. We are open to all lifestyles and believe responsible pet owners are a very diverse group of people. We require an Adoption Request Form to be completed on all potential adoptions. The Request helps us to understand your pet experience and "cat personality" preferences so that we can help you select the cat that most nearly meets your expectations. If you are interested in any of the cats you see listed here you can complete a Cat Adoption Request Form at: https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form (We offer very few dogs for adoption. If you are viewing a dog on our site, please go to our dog Adoption Request Form at: https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/dog-adoption-application) If you are looking for a specific cat and you don't see it listed here, please e-mail us at pawsokrescue@gmail.com and leave us a detailed message about what you are looking for and we will see if we have one that meets your needs or direct you to another source for what you are looking for.
