Moses's Story

Meet Moses! This incredibly sweet senior boy was found abandoned in a park in Williamsburg and let his finder pick him up and carry him home, purring the whole way. He purrs when you just look at him. All he wants in the world is his own human to curl up in bed with and the occasional catnip toy to roll around on the floor with. We could not adore this sweetheart more - his personality is perfect!

Mosey does have a few health problems, as many older kitties do, but they are well-managed, though they may require a few vet visits every year to make sure the medications are still doing what they’re supposed to do. He has congestive heart failure, which really isn't as scary as it sounds! It's quite manageable, and it's even very possible he will no longer have that diagnosis soon, as his medications continue to work. He also has hyperthyroidism, which is super common in older kitties and also easily managed. He just needs two pills in the morning and at night, and he takes them with no problem - he's a very good boy. The medications are not expensive.

Moses is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. He’s happy by himself but doesn’t mind other cats as long as they respect that he’s an older guy who just wants to relax. If you’re interested in giving this perfect boy a loving home to enjoy his retirement, please fill out an application at www.brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms and designate Jennie AnneS as the rescuer. Thank you for your interest in a rescued kitty! All adoption fees and donations go to saving the next sweetie.
