Mortimer's Story

This sweet boy started his life as an outdoor, colony kitty. He had a caretaker who fed the colony every day and he was pretty smitten with her. He followed her around as she put out the food and monitored everyone. The caretaker was unable to make him her own because she already has several cats in the home. But he is so sweet she really wanted to find him a nice cushy home where he can be loved and spoiled so she reached out to WAAL. This boy is a quiet little lover. He just wants to be loved and have a soft bed to nap in and maybe a window or two to watch the birds. Wichita Animal Action League's Adoption Policy
Adoption fees vary. All animals are sterilized, vaccinated, heartworm tested (dogs), FeLV tested (cats), microchipped, dewormed and have had monthly heartworm and flea and tick prevention. All animals are adopted to indoor-only homes.
