Morris's Story

Our sweet and adorable Morris just melts our hearts. When you just look at his face, we know you'll feel the same way. He's been through a lot in his life, but his kind soul and loving personality just shine through no matter what.

Morris had a rough life living on the streets for many years, until he was taken into his wonderful foster home and given the love and security he always deserved. He's just blossomed in his foster home!

Morris had glaucoma and cataract in his right eye, which was causing him discomfort and was getting worse. We had his eye removed and he's made a full recovery.

He has limited vision in his left eye due to glaucoma and a cataract. He requires eye drops every day, but Morris is completely at ease getting his drops and it doesn't bother him at all.

That shows what kind of kitty he is -- he loves life and doesn't let things like eye drops get him down!

Morris LOVES humans and enjoys being with his foster mom and dad. He's affectionate and sweet. He likes using his scratching post and cardboard rounds. He even likes to sometimes sleep on his cardboard round -- so cute!

His foster mom and dad would love to keep him, but their other kitties sometimes pick on him if he gets too close to them. Morris can't see up close, so his encounters with the other kitties are accidental.

He gets along fine with the kittens that are in his foster home -- they are mostly curious and he allows sniffing and when he's had enough, he just walks away. He's a mellow and gentle kitty who just wants to enjoy his life.

Morris is also FIV+ but that's not a worry since cats with FIV can live long and healthy lives. Morris is proof of this because he's a senior and still going strong.

We adore Morris' chunky body, cute face, and sweet personality. He is a calm kitty with a lot of love to give. Could you be the lucky human to have this gentle boy in your life? Meet Morris and we're sure he'll melt your heart just like he did ours.
