Morrigan's Story
I am looking for a home with a patient person.
I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.
I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.

Meet Morrigan!

Morrigan came to us from a house that didn't offer her the best start in life. A home overcrowded with cats and little interaction causes a cat to grow up unsocialized, making life in the shelter pretty tough. Morrigan, however, braves every day that she's here, dreaming of a future home that has plenty of space for her to decompress, is low traffic, and is occupied by adults only. Wanna make her dreams come true? Then come say hi to Morrigan at SIACC today!

A volunteer writes: Morrigan seems to be in a near constant state of surprise and not really the fun kind. We come prepared with treats, toys, maybe even some pets if she's open to it and she peers up at us each time like she's trying to conceptualize what exactly is going on and what will happen next. Morrigan, who will allow a few pets from time to time, slowly and quietly inched herself toward her cubby when I opened the condo door. This is presumably where she feels a bit more comfortable and in control of a situation that's been out of her paws for quite some time. Morrigan came to us from a home with many other cats and considerably less experience with people. The shelter is full of new experiences that Morrigan does her best to navigate, even if many of them (most of them?) take her by surprise. We know that with a patient and loving forever family that will meet her where she is and go at her pace will be just the thing to get her started. Primary Color: Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 5.5625lbs Age: 1yrs 0mths 4wks Animal has been Spayed
