Mori (Moraine)'s Story
Mori is a gorgeous tortie who makes the fanciest biscuits and the cutest chirps and is in general the sweetest thing ever. She loves bumping into you and will bump her head into your lips when going in to kiss her on the head. She seems pretty young (like a year or two old).

It wasn't really practical to take Mori in right now with how hard kitten season is hitting all the rescues, but she's my achilles' heel. When I was feeding my colony of cats, I heard dainty chirps in the woods and kept calling out until this girl--scared but bravely--peeked her head out of the foliage.

She was pretty skinny and had a small wound on her side but was incredibly friendly from the beginning. We think Mori was dumped there. She was spayed already but didn't have an ear tip.

We're thinking Mori could be great as an only cat. She loves human attention! She could probably do well with a kitten friend too! (We're not sure how Mori does with adult cats).

Now that she's safe inside and out of the heat, she's started playing with toys a bit:')

All cats and kittens adopted through Friends of Felines are spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations and rabies shots (if old enough).

If you'd like to meet Mori, see our adoption process below:

1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt
2) Meet with the cat in their foster home
3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules.

** We are not able to hold cats for a particular family longer than about 7 days, unless the cat is available for pre-adoption which will be noted on their profile. Please wait to apply until you are ready to take a cat home. **

We are a completely foster-based nonprofit rescue run by volunteers. We do this work out of love.
