Morgan's Story
Meet Morgan!

Morgan has had a rough start in life. He is about a year old and came from a breeding and hoarding situation. While recovering from surgery, he decided it would be a good idea to remove his own stitches. Thankfully, those days are behind him, and he is now healthy, healed, and ready for a fresh start.

Morgan is an affectionate, talkative boy who loves being around people. At around 13 pounds, he's already a big cat, and as a Maine Coon mix, he may not be finished growing. He is playful and energetic, with a particular love for laser pointers, toy mice, and turning everyday objects into entertainment. Plastic grocery bags are one of his favorite toys.

He gets along well with other cats who are friendly toward him and especially enjoys spending time with his foster brother. His foster sister, who is about half his size, has been less than impressed with his attempts at friendship. While he hasn't been around dogs or children, his foster mom believes he would do well with any animal that offers him positive attention. In fact, if her resident cat were a little more welcoming, she would happily keep this sweet boy herself.

Morgan is a loving, social cat who is ready to leave his difficult past behind and find a family of his own.

If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.

All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
