Morey's Story
Morey was trapped in a basement on the Wildwood Boardwalk by an exterminator trying to catch an opossum! It was actually a good thing that Morey found his way to the shelter. He was so skinny, cold and just in bad shape.
His eyes had Entropions which is a medical condition where the eyelid rolls inward, causing the eyelashes and skin to rub against the surface of the eye. The photos posted are just after his eye surgery to correct the condition. Morey is just a big, lovable goof. The truly appreciates all the kindness he is getting from the shelter staff. Now he needs you to love him forever!

The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.

This link will take you to our adoption application.
https://capemaycountynj.gov/DocumentCenter/View/5814/Adoption-Application
