Moose's Story

Moose is a shy, handsome, playful house panther who is looking for a home with someone with a little cat magic to help him complete his transition from an unsocialized kitten living in an outdoor cat colony to an indoor, spoiled kitty. He can be shy with new people or in new situations, but when he is comfortable, Moose loves to be petted and is the ultimate lap cat who purrs like a lion to show contentment. Even though he can still be fearful and flightly sometimes even with people he knows, we know this kiddo will continue to thrive in the right home. And the has the most adorable markings on his belly that he likes to show when he is feeling safe!

Moose loves to play with toys and his sister Meerkat, and he would thrive with a social cat sibling to help him complete his transformation. He has had very limited exposure to dogs in his foster home but we think he would do well with a cat-friendly, mellow dog after slow and thoughtful introductions.

Moose will likely do better in a home without small children given his shy nature. If your home is relatively calm and quiet and you have a little cat savvy and patience to help this youngster continue to blossom into his full potential, please ask about Moose today!
