Moony's Story

Moony is a beautiful, nurturing soul who brings a sense of calm and comfort wherever she goes.

She comes to us from Saudi Arabia and will be arriving in the United States soon, ready to go to her forever home on June 17th.*

Moony has a truly special presence, she naturally takes on a gentle, motherly role with the cats around her. For reasons no one can quite explain, other cats are drawn to her. They follow her, settle near her, and seem to find reassurance just being by her side. In return, Moony is endlessly patient, tender, and loving, offering quiet companionship and a sense of safety to everyone she meets.

She is also FIV+, which simply means she has a slightly weakened immune system. With proper care, regular vet checkups, and a safe indoor environment, FIV+ cats like Moony can live long, happy, and completely normal lives. She can also safely live with other friendly cats.

Moony's affectionate nature extends to people as well. She is sweet, calm, and enjoys gentle attention, making her a wonderful companion for a peaceful home.

Moony would do beautifully in a home with other cats, especially those who would benefit from her nurturing presence. She has a gift for connection and would likely become the heart of her household.

After her journey, Moony is ready for a place where she can share her warmth, love, and quiet magic every day.

An approved application is required to meet any of our shelter pets, please visit our website at paws4survival.org to submit an application.
