Moonie's Story
Meet Moonie! This sweet 13-14-year-old domestic shorthair recently lost her senior human and is still adjusting to all the changes. Friends of previous owner took over her care and she has been increasingly stressed. She hasn't really warmed up to anyone just yet, but she does well when someone sits with her quietly and gives her time to feel comfortable.

Moonie previously lived with another cat, but she isn't a fan of the other resident cats and will hiss at them. She ignores the dog, so a calm dog may be okay. Moonie is also having some litter box trouble. She was treated for a UTI by her previous owner's veterinarian, but the issue has continued, so she'll need a patient adopter who can follow up with a vet and help her feel safe and settled.

If you're looking for a gentle senior cat and are willing to give her the quiet time, patience, and understanding she needs, Moonie may be the perfect match!
