Mooncake's Story

Meet Mooncake! Mooncake is a 2 year old neutered male. Mooncake is a loving boy who wants all the cuddles. As soon as you start petting him his purring starts. He shows his affection with head bonks as well. He does well with kids but we are unsure how he is with other cats and dogs. All adoptions come fully vetted with spay/neuter, 1st year vaccines and dewormer. If you would like to come and meet Mooncake please just come swing by the Pet Centre from 10 am-4 pm Monday-Saturday, he would love to see you!

Wetaskiwin Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

After selecting your pet, we require you to fill out the adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee. After this is done your new family member will be ready for pick up in 24 hours. This gives you time to ready your home for a new addition and gives us time to make sure that any paperwork and services required are complete. If you change your mind in this 24 hour hold period your payment will be refunded to you. Choosing a pet is a big decision for you and your family but it is also a big life change for your new pet. We require all potential adopters to meet the animal in person prior to adopting. We unfortunately cannot accommodate travel arrangements or shipping of an animal.
