We’re brother and sister, we’re both 6 years old, and we’re hoping to find a forever home together. We’ve been waiting for someone to notice us, and so far, no one has come forward. We don’t understand why, but we’re still hoping our special person is out there. <br/><br/>We were adopted as tiny kittens through Whis-Purr Rescue, but through no fault of our own, we found ourselves back in rescue looking for a new family. All we want is a safe, quiet home where we can finally settle in and feel loved for the rest of our lives.<br/><br/>We’ll be honest with you: we’re shy. New places and new people make us nervous, and when we’re scared, we like to hide. We might even hide when you first come to meet us, so please don’t think we don’t like you! We just need a little time to feel safe.<br/><br/>Our foster family has been caring for us for three months, and we’re learning that people can be wonderful. Even when we’re hiding, we love gentle pets and will lean into your hand. Lately, we’ve even started greeting our foster with tiny little meows when we’re ready for some affection. Those are our little ways of saying, “We’re starting to trust you!”<br/><br/>We’re looking for someone with a patient heart who understands that we might need weeks, or even months, to fully come out of our shells. We may not be the cats who run right up to you on day one, but if you give us time, kindness, and a safe place to call home, we hope to show you just how sweet we can be.<br/><br/>A few things about us:<br/> We’re a bonded brother-and-sister pair and must stay together.<br/> We’re both 6 years old.<br/> We’re litter-box trained.<br/> We enjoy both wet and dry food.<br/> We’re dog-friendly! We currently live with two large dogs and two other cats, and we do well with them through a gate.<br/><br/>Our dream isn’t complicated. We just want someone who will see past our shyness, give us a chance, and let us blossom at our own pace. We have so much love waiting to grow when we feel safe enough to share it.<br/><br/>Could you be the person we’ve been waiting for?
