Monkey's Story

At just three years old, he's everything you'd expect from a cat -and then some. Part ginger and full of orange-cat energy, Monkey is friendly, social, curious, and just the right amount of naughty. Monkey loves being the centre of attention and is always happy to chat with anyone willing to listen to his stories. He's incredibly playful and loves jumping, climbing, and running. Don't be surprised to find him perched on top of a cabinet or high up on a shelf - that's one of his favourite places to nap! He also loves tearing around the house chasing a laser pointer and will happily hitch a ride on your shoulders or back whenever the opportunity arises. As with many cats, Monkey believes everything on a table belongs on the floor, so you may want to keep fragile items out of reach! Despite his mischievous side, he's also very affectionate. When playtime is over, he's more than happy to curl up for cuddles. He doesn't mind being picked up and enjoys being brushed while relaxing on your lap. A big window where he can nap and keep an eye on the world outside is a must. And make sure there's room in your bed - Monkey fully expects to be sleeping there with you every night! Monkey gets along well with other cats and MUST have another cat or kitten companion in his new home. He would also love a family where someone is home most of the time to spend time with him.

Monkey came to us after developing a urinary tract infection that his previous family was unable to afford to treat. After a course of medication, he has made a full recovery. His only ongoing requirements are a wet food diet only and access to plenty of fresh water. If kibble is fed, it must be urinary support kibble only.

If you're looking for a cat with personality, affection, energy, and a healthy dose of orange-cat antics, Monkey may be the perfect addition to your family. This silly ginger boy truly has all the best cat qualities rolled into one.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first-come, first-served.
