Monkey's Story

Monkey is a 6-year-old tuxedo with a quiet, easygoing nature. He originally came from a loving home, but after a few recent changes in his life, he's settling into foster care and beginning to show his sweet and affectionate side.

While he’s not a lap cat (at least not yet), he enjoys calm company and will often come over for head and chin scratches when you’re sitting nearby. He’s also quite playful - frequently caught batting at toys, playing with tissue paper, or watching cat videos with full focus. Lately, he’s even started lying on his foster’s chest in bed, a sign he’s beginning to build real trust.

Monkey would do best in a quiet home, either as a solo pet or with another calm, respectful cat. He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for someone patient and kind to help him feel truly at home.

UPDATE: This adorable chunky Monkey was transferred to Heartland Animal Shelter.
