Momma Tort's Story
Momma Tort was a semi-feral sassy lady when we put her in a crate to see if we could get her warmed up to humans. She is tiny but mighty, and it took a little bit, but she is now coming for pets, belly rubs, purring, and generally really liking her human interactions! We love her so much and would love to get her directly into a home because we are worried releasing her back into 'gen pop' will cause her to revert a little when she gets back into her old environment. We would love to find a tortie loving human that is willing to be patient with her as she gets to know them and shows her sweet personality. She's a gentle soul, she just wasn't given much of a leg up in life until now - and we want her to continue on that path to a great life!
