Molly's Story

Molly is the sweetest most laid back elderly lady that is looking for a retirement home. She may not have many years left in her but she has a lot of love to give in that time. She is hyperthyroid and takes medication twice daily to manage that, we would be happy to sponsor her medication for the rest of her life. She is great with other cats, hasn't been tested around dogs, and we would see no problem with her and older gentle kids.

Our adoption screening process is as follows: 1) Potential adopters should complete the adoption application at https://heroshavenanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms. 2) We will do a background check and contact your personal references as well as your vet reference if you currently have or have had pets in your home. 3) We will do an adoption interview and may request a home visit. 4) If/when approved as an applicant, a meet and greet with your preferred animal will be arranged to ensure it is a good fit for both you and the dog or cat.
