Molly's Story

Molly is a lovely and petite 2-year-old girl with a quiet, gentle soul. She naturally leans toward the shy side when encountering new faces or environments, and she needs a little extra encouragement and patience to step out of her comfort zone. However, she is highly accepting of gentle head scratches and pets once you approach her softly. Underneath her initial shyness, Molly is an incredibly sweet and playful companion who just needs a peaceful foundation to help her blossom. Once she feels secure, her fun-loving side really comes out, and she absolutely loves chasing feather toys and pouncing on crinkle balls! Molly truly needs a home with another friendly kitty to support her social growth. A friendly, confident feline roommate provides immense developmental benefits for a reserved cat. By observing a bold buddy interact happily with humans, Molly will learn through imitation that she is safe to come out for affection and playtime. A resident cat provides a sense of routine, comfort, and vital social stimulation, making the transition into a new home much less intimidating for her. Because Molly prefers a more predictable environment, we recommend a home with respectful children over the age of 8 who can offer her the gentle patience she needs. To keep her stress levels low while she builds up her confidence, she needs a home without dogs for now, though she could potentially adjust to a cat-friendly canine companion later in life. Molly's adoption fee is $225.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats.
