Molly (Female, Estimated Age 3 years, Buff Tabby)<br/>Molly was on her way to a local shelter with her 5 kittens and 11 other cats. Bedford Cares immediately intervened for the family, and placed Molly and her 5 babies with a foster. When she first arrived, poor Mama Molly was severely malnourished, infested with fleas and worms, her spirit was shattered, and she was terrified of adult cats. Her babies, however, were perfect! They were healthy, well fed, and completely enthralled in just being happy kittens. I’m always in awe and humbled by how a mama cat will drain herself of everything she has, in order to keep her babies healthy and safe. Molly is a true superhero and I can only imagine what Molly endured that gave her such a strong distrust and fear of other cats.<br/>It took several months, but presently Molly is completely healed and enchanted by life as an indoor cat. She is healthy, her fur has grown in so soft and sleek, she completely adores humans, and is so eager to greet and receive pets from anyone who walks into our house. Molly also loves watching the world from behind a safe window and purring herself to sleep on a warm cozy lap. Molly is still very distrustful of cats and would need to be the only pet in the household. If you are looking would a kitty who will love you to pieces because you exist and a lap cat who melts into a motor boat of purrs, Molly is the perfect choice.
