Mollie's Story

Mollie is a sweet 1-year-old girl who has come such a long way since she first arrived at the shelter. ?? She came to us as a terrified kitten, unsure of the world around her and not quite ready to trust the people trying to help her.

Over time, Mollie has found comfort in her feline friends and has slowly started discovering that people can be pretty wonderful, too. With patience, gentle encouragement, and a few tasty treats, she’ll lean into your hand for pets — and watching her make that choice is the sweetest reward.

Mollie isn’t going to be the cat who runs up to a stranger and immediately asks for attention. She needs someone willing to let her set the pace and give her the time she needs to feel safe. But when she chooses to trust you, those little moments mean so much more.

She truly deserves a home where someone will believe in her, be patient with her, and give her the opportunity to show just how special she can be. If you’re willing to let a sweet, shy girl come out of her shell at her own pace, Mollie may be the perfect companion for you.

Our cat adoption fee is $110 and includes her spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, age-appropriate vaccinations, and preventatives. You can find our adoption questionnaire at agcshelter.org/adopt-1 or stop in to meet all of our adoptable pets Tuesday–Saturday from 1pm–4pm. No appointment required! Please check our Facebook page before visiting to make sure we do not have any unexpected closures.

All God's Creatures Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet. Adopters can meet our cats Tuesday through Saturday from 1 pm to 4 pm in our open-concept adoption space! Here, you can sit and spend time with our kitties in a relaxed environment to get to know each personality. While we currently don't have dogs in the building, we do have dogs in foster care. If you're interested in meeting one of them, please contact us to arrange a time with their foster family.
