Moira's Story

Crazy Ethan

"Im positively bedeviled with meetings, etcetera, etcetera."

Moira is 5 month old gray medium hair kitten. She a sweet, quiet little wallflower who prefers to observe the world before deciding whether she's ready to participate. She's a little slower to warm up than some kittens, and if you approach her too quickly, she may turn away as if to say, "No, thank you." But give her a moment, offer some gentle back scratches, and she may decide that perhaps sticking around isn't such a bad idea after all.

Moira loves watching everyone else play and occasionally gathers the courage to join in herself. She can be playful and curious, although she's sometimes a little awkward about taking that next step, so she'll retreat to a cozy corner before she has to suffer any further embarrassment. She's perfectly happy entertaining herself with a toy, finding a comfortable nap spot, or quietly observing the household from a safe distance.

She's also an incredibly considerate little girl. Moira is very sensitive to the moods and boundaries of the cats around her and seems determined not to step on anyone's toes. She's sweet, gentle, and quiet, although she's beginning to discover her voice and let us know what she has to say.

Life in a busy household can make it difficult for a kitten like Moira to truly blossom, but underneath that shy exterior is a girl with so much potential. She doesn't need to be the center of attention; she needs someone willing to notice her, give her time, and let her confidence grow at her own pace.

Moira is cat-friendly and may appreciate a confident feline friend to help show her the ropes. She can also learn to settle around dogs who respect her space and remain calm. Because she's sensitive to her surroundings, a quieter home and children ages 12 and up would likely be the best fit for this gentle girl.

Adoption fee is $150. She is fixed, chipped, dewormed, flea treated, and had a wellness exam.
