Moira's Story

Moira is a 1-year-old brown and white tabby who is simply "re-vamp-ing" the role of motherhood! This dramatic lady treats every room like a stage and every cardboard box like a grand amphitheater. She has spent her time raising her "bebes" with flair, but she is now ready for her own solo debut. Moira is incredibly sweet and looking for a forever home where she can be the leading lady of her own soap opera. If you have a penchant for the theatrical and a very soft lap, Moira is ready to grace your presence forever!

Bay Area Cats's Adoption Policy
Interested adopters can meet cats and kittens at our adoption center at 160 E El Camino Real inside of Petco in Sunnyvale, CA. Currently, meet-and-greets are primarily by appointment until we have our official opening later this summer and have regular hours. Meet-and-greets can also be scheduled at foster homes. During this time the potential adopter can ask questions and have a conversation with the volunteers showing the cats or kittens to learn more about the animals and their care. After the meet-and-greet, an adopter can move forward with the process by completing a pre-adoption survey at bayareacats.org/adopt (this can also be completed prior to the meet-and-greet). An adoption counselor will meet with the adopter to go over the cat’s medical and treatment history, future vaccination due dates, and diet. The adoption counselor will also provide education on additional topics indicated by the adopter in the survey, such as the initial confinement period (“sanctuary room”), cat-to-cat introductions, safe-outdoor access, etc. The adoption is then processed via mobile checkout and all information is emailed to the adopter for a paperless experience unless otherwise requested. Most adoptions are completed same day!
