She was originally rescued after being abandoned, and though a few placements were tried, none turned into the stability she deserves. Through no fault of her own, she's been searching for somewhere to truly belong. She's timid at first and prefers not to be held - being picked up makes her feel a little overwhelmed. But give her time and space, and she'll gently allow pets once she feels safe. Mochi actually loves other cats and would thrive in a calm home with a confident feline friend. Dogs are not her thing. She's the kind of cat who bonds quietly, blossoms slowly, and rewards patience with trust. After so much change in her young life, Mochi deserves consistency, safety, and someone who understands that shy cats love deeply - they just whisper it instead of shout it. Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions's Adoption Policy

If you see a cat or kitten you’d like to meet, please note their location in their adoption profile. Most of our adoptable cats and kittens are located at our Adoption Center at 2675 E. Flamingo Rd., Las Vegas. Come on down any day, noon-6:00pm, to meet and adopt available cats/kittens. All adoptions are conversation based, in person, on a first-come, first-served basis. Our cats and kittens come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and personalities so we encourage you to get to know them and see who is the best fit for your family. Once you find a cat you’re interested in adopting, our Adoptions Team will help you through the adoption process to make sure both you and your new furry friend are set up for success. All adoptions are same-day, and cats will go home with you upon completing the adoption process. Unfortunately, we cannot hold cats for future adoption or pick-up.
