Mochi absolutely loves cats and will need a cat friend in his forever home. He is curious about new cats, is nice and patient, and gives them space. He is wary of the cranky cat in his foster home and tries to stay out of the way. He will groom a friendly cat, likes to play, and if other cats in his foster home were into wrestling, chasing, and sharing toys, he’d be even happier. He is good friends with Goose, could continue to live with him as a cat sibling, and also needs more stimulation from other cats.<br/><br/>Good with kids? Not Tested, but reportedly he lived with a small child. He’s gentle and calm, but cautious of fast movements. He lives in a cat’s world and would not likely want to be a kid’s best friend, but he is friendly and loves being petted.<br/><br/>Energy level: Medium. He likes to play with toys but often chirps, looking for available kitty playmates. He is good at self-play, likes little pom-poms and overall seems like he may enjoy hunting and playing chase. His favorite toy is an interactive flappy bird that he catches and carries around. If he lived with more energetic cats they’d likely be frolicking together.<br/><br/>Animal Characteristics: Mochi is a playful, curious, friendly, calm, gentle boy who loves other cats and likes people, too. He’s a little shy in new situations and gains more confidence from cats than humans, but enjoys being petted, especially on his chin and head, and is OK with being picked up. He is chatty, especially when bored, and chats with other cats, seeking playtime and fun! He greatly enjoys looking out a window and may require a window sill or seat so that he can have a snooze with a view.
