MOBIE's Story

Mobie is a GORGEOUS lynx point siamese boy with bright blue eyes and a MYSTERIOUS backstory.

He was found outside as an adult, in great health, well taken care of, socialized and litter trained, and already fixed! Clearly, someone cared about this sweet boy a great deal and would be missing him dearly. Naturally, his rescuers and our partner DACR (Dream Away Cat Rescue) scanned him for a chip but found none. They posted him online and notified the shelters and animal control, but after great deal of time no one stepped forward. It was clear that Mobie belonged to a loving family, and it was decided he should come to Purrs to continue being spoiled as his mystery previous owner would have wanted. So here he is!

Mobie is genuinly one of the sweetest boys we've ever had at Purrs. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He gets along great with other cats, is at ease with kids and lots of people, plays hard and cuddles harder. That said, he has 2 interesting quirks.

Mobie is both hard of hearing and seeing. The veterinarian that established this could not confirm one way or the other if he was completely blind or deaf, because of Mobie's personality. He was quoted as "being deaf or just really uninterested in what I had to say." We think that's hilarious. Go off, Mobie, you sassy boy! After watching and monitoring him, we at Purrs can confirm that Mobie *can* hear some but not all, and *can* see some but not well. He can follow light but walks into doors, can jump distances but miss the feather, and can't hear you when you call him but can hear a can open a mile away.

We hope you find him as silly and sweet as we do.

Mobie is fully vetted.
