Mitzy's Story

If you're looking for a gentle soul to add a little sparkle to your life, Mitzy is your girl. At 9 months old, she is the perfect age-past the tiny kitten "chaos" phase but still full of youthful wonder and play.Mitzy is a bit of a "wallflower" at first. She likes to take a moment to scan the room and make sure the coast is clear, but don't let her initial shyness fool you! Once she knows she's safe, her true colors shine through. She is a total sweetheart who absolutely adores pets and will reward your patience with soft purrs and a lifetime of loyalty. Why Mitzy is the Best:The Socialite: She loves the company of other kitties! She'd be a great addition to a home that already has a feline friend. The Playmaker: When she's not busy being a cuddle bug, she is surprisingly playful and loves a good toy mouse or wand feather.Ready to Roll: Mitzy is all set for her new life. She is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.Mitzy's Profile:FeatureDetailsAge9 MonthsTemperamentShy but sweet; affectionateCompatibilityGreat with other catsHealthSpayed, Microchipped, VaccinatedA Note from Mitzy: "I might hide for a minute when we first meet, but I promise I'm worth the wait! Just bring some chin scratches and we'll be best friends forever."Mitzy is ready to brighten up your home-could you be the one to show her the world isn't so scary?

Mendocino Coast Humane Society's Adoption Policy
Through our Adoptions Program, we offer a variety of wonderful animals who are deserving of a loving, responsible home.  Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, de-worming, flea treatment, as well as heartworm, feline leukemia and FIV testing.  In addition to being open Monday through Saturday, we also extend our adoption programs reach with our Mobile Pet Adoptions van, which enables us to go into our community with adoptable animals in Mendocino as well as Fort Bragg.  We also feature an adoptable animal weekly on Skunk Radio and in local newspapers. We want you! MCHS is always looking for volunteers. We need people to train dogs, take them out for walks, and to hang out with the cats in our Kitty Cottage. To find out more email us at info@mendocinohumane.org or call us at 964-SPAY.  Website: mendocinohumane.org We are located at 19691 Summers Lane, Fort Bragg, Ca.
