Mitzi's Story
Mitzi came to Furkids as a tiny kitten back in 2018 and has been overlooked ever since. Today, she is our longest resident - but despite spending years in the shelter, Mitzi still hasn't given up hope that someone will finally choose her. Mitzi is a quiet, gentle girl with a few chronic medical issues, including chronic sinusitis, which causes ongoing upper respiratory symptoms that are not treatable. She has been fully evaluated by veterinarians, and while her condition is chronic, she continues to live comfortably and happily. What makes Mitzi so special is the trust she's learned to give. She loves treats and will gently reach out to touch your finger with her nose - a small but meaningful sign of the bond she wants to build. She's looking for a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. She also adores other cats and would thrive with a feline friend nearby to help her feel safe and confident. Mitzi just needs someone willing to look past her medical issues and let her experience the love she's waited so long for. Please fill out an application at furkids.org/adopt to get connected with our adoption team - we'd love to tell you more about this special girl.

ID# : FKDS-A-13001
Est.
