Mittens's Story
Mittens: A Tiny Survivor with a Big Personality

Mittens' life began with extraordinary odds stacked against her. At only a few weeks old, she lost her mother while she was still nursing and faced almost certain death. Thankfully, she was rescued just in time by her foster mom, who bottle-fed her around the clock until she was old enough to eat on her own. Thanks to that loving care and Mittens' incredible determination, she grew into the happy, healthy 6 month old kitten she is today.

Perhaps because she's a survivor, Mittens approaches life with confidence, curiosity, and enthusiasm. She is very playful, athletic, and loves to leap high into the air chasing teaser toys. She enjoys playing with other cats and can happily entertain herself with just about any cat toy she finds.

When playtime is over, Mittens has a sweet and mellow side. She enjoys relaxing on her favorite window perch, watching the world go by, and curling up next to her foster mom in bed. She's an easygoing girl who isn't a picky eater and happily enjoys both wet and dry food.

Mittens gets along wonderfully with other cats and has also done well with a large, cat-friendly dog. She would thrive in a home with another young, playful cat companion. She hasn't been around children, but her friendly, adaptable nature suggests she would likely do well with respectful kids.

If you're looking for a kitten who brings both fun and affection, Mittens is ready to fill your home with joy, laughter, and a little bit of lucky survivor magic. Her zest for life is contagious, and she's sure to brighten every day of the family lucky enough to adopt her.

Please visit Mittens starting June 16 at Pet Supermarket in Matthews NC - 3036 Weddington Rd.
