Mitten's Story

Mitten is a wonderful, loving guy. He's lost two furever homes when his owners had to be placed in assisted living. Mitten doesn't understand all these changes. He's very shy and it takes time and patience to win him over. But the wait is worth it!<br/><br/>Mitten loves to be pet while he's eating and loves Temptations. He will jump up on his foster's lap in the evening for extra cuddles, purring loudly. He lets you play with his paws and even pet his belly! After a slow introduction, he did well with the other cats in a temporary foster home. A quiet home (no kids) with a single person or couple would be ideal for him. Mitten is doing well in his current foster home soaking up attention, but he's still hoping to find his furever home soon. Mitten's foster welcomes home visits.

Complete our Pre-adoption application. A volunteer will contact you to review your application. Set up a meet & greet with the cat at PetSmart. Once the final adoption is approved, the adoption contract paperwork and adoption fee is paid, your new friend can go home with you!
