Mitchell's Story

Mitchell is a sweet little kitten who is thought to have been born around May 9 in an outdoor colony. He and his sister Joni came into care near Canada Day, which inspired their names: together, they are Joni Mitchell, a fitting Canadian tribute for this adorable sibling duo.

Mitchell has adapted well to life indoors and with people. He is an affectionate boy who enjoys being petted, and he is always ready for a good game of chase with a feather wand. He is also polydactyl, with extra toes on both his front and back paws, giving him an extra-special look to go with his beautiful classic tabby markings.

Mitchell would love to be adopted with his sister Joni. They will be ready for their forever home once they are 12 weeks old, in early to mid August.

NOTE 1: Spays, neuters, first vaccinations and vet checks are included in the adoption fee.

NOTE 2: Because a young kitten needs feline companionship, it is the policy of Cat Rescue Network that kittens 6 months or younger be adopted out in pairs unless there is another kitten or young cat already in the home.

NOTE 3: Cat Rescue Network only adopts their cats to homes in the National Capital region of Canada
