Mitch's Story
Meet Mitch!

Born at the end of March 2025, this sweet boy is still learning that the world—and people—can be safe and kind. Mitch is very shy and easily startled, but beneath that timid exterior is a gentle soul who just needs time, patience, and understanding to truly shine.

Right now, Mitch prefers to admire his humans from a distance. He’ll happily come over for treats or wet food, but quick movements or attempts to pet him can send him scurrying away. That said, when the house is quiet and still, his brave side starts to emerge—he may even curl up near your feet at night when he feels safe.

Mitch absolutely loves other cats and takes great comfort in their company, often choosing to cuddle up with his feline friends. Because of this, he would thrive in a home with a confident, friendly cat who can help show him that people aren’t so scary after all.

A calm, quiet home with older children (or no children) would be best for Mitch, as loud noises and sudden movements can overwhelm him. The good news? He does well around dogs!

Mitch may not be the kind of cat who will jump into your lap right away, but for the right person, helping him build confidence and trust will be an incredibly rewarding journey.

--
Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter and microchipping for all animals. Our adoption fee is $300 per cat.

All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. If you are interested in meeting Mitch, please go to our website and fill out a cat application.

*Please note, as per our policy, we only place animals in homes within a 100-mile radius of the Twin Cities Metropolitan area.

https://www.therescuepack.org/cat-adoption-application
