Sweet Misty is looking for a loving home because her family is moving out of the country. She needs a safe place to land as soon as possible (no later than May 17).<br/><br/>About Misty<br/>🐾 Female Domestic Shorthair<br/>🐾 Born 6/26/2012 (13.5 years young)<br/><br/>🐾 Personality:<br/>Misty is an independent girl who enjoys affection on her terms. When she’s in the mood, she will happily come sit in your lap. She loves sleeping on her family’s bed and is surprisingly agile for a senior kitty. While she mostly prefers long naps, she still enjoys hunting bugs or any little moving “creature” she spots indoors.<br/><br/>🐾Good to Know:<br/>• Best as the only pet (not used to other animals)<br/>• Loves: laser toys, cardboard scratchers, catnip, and boxes<br/>• Dislikes: being picked up, nail trims, loud noises, storms, and guitar playing<br/><br/>🐾 Medical:<br/>Misty is healthy and not on any medications.<br/>• Receives Viralys supplement weekly with wet food<br/>• Tiny growth above her left eye (vet believes it’s likely a cyst)<br/>• Last wellness exam: February 2026<br/>• Rabies vaccine: up-to-date<br/><br/>📍 Location: Asheville, NC
