Misty ADOPTED Extra-Toes Cat / Hemingway Polydactyl & Domestic Short Hair Mix East Brunswick, NJ

Misty is a 6 month old female polydactyl kitten. She has huge front feet that look like catcher's mitts. She is beautiful and has a thick coat of black fur. She has one white spot on her chest.

Adopting Misty is not for the first time cat owner. She needs someone very experienced and patient. She is extremely shy at first and will not allow people she doesn't know to touch her. She will hiss and try to get away. She has been confined now for 3 months and is coming around to her foster finally. She has learned to trust only her foster mom. Misty now plays and will rub back and forth for pets and rolls upside down. She will get scared and run sometimes but will come back for more attention. She loves toys and will play with you and that is how the trust is built up. Misty loves other cats and would probably do best going to a home with a friendly can that can show her that everything will be ok. She now purrs when pet. Misty loves treats and canned food. Playing music is what got her to slowly start to relax.

Misty is a sweet girl that just needs time and someone who will let her adjust at her own pace. She is littertrained. Misty is spayed, combo tested and has her first vaccines. She will be updated on vaccines before she is adopted out.
