Missy Elliot's Story

Meet Missy, a sweet 3-year-old girl with a quirky personality and a professional commitment to relaxing. Fully vaccinated, spayed, and a little chunky...Missy is looking for a home where she can enjoy cozy naps, gentle affection, and the occasional low-energy play session.

Missy absolutely loves to play, especially with her favorite mouse toy...although she prefers to do most of her hunting while comfortably laying down. When she’s not “exercising,” Missy can usually be found exploring her space, searching for the perfect soft spot to stretch out for a nap, or soaking up under-the-chin scratches from her favorite people.

Missy was recently diagnosed with adult-onset epilepsy that presented as mild focal seizures consisting of facial twitches. She takes medication twice a day and has been responding well to treatment. She’s also been an excellent patient and takes her medicine like a champ even though she complains every so often. While with us, Missy has had a full work up including an MRI and extensive diagnostic bloodwork to make sure there was nothing more serious going on.

This cutie pie enjoys the company of others and has been friendly with both cats and dogs she’s met. She previously lived with another cat and could happily join a home with other pets, though she would also be perfectly content as your one-and-only lazy little companion.

If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate cat with a cute personality, a silly play style, and lots of love to give, Missy may be your perfect match.
